O’Fallon-based Hansen’s Tree Service announced three more employees have been named certified arborists by the International Society of Arboriculture. The total number of certified arborists working at Hansen’s Tree Service is now 10.
Michael Walker, Jeremiah Grogan and Curtis Foster received their arborist certification during 2007. As part of its mission to provide customers with excellent service, Hansen’s Tree Service pays for the cost of the arborists’ certification courses, materials and tests. Jeff Hansen, company president, said he does this to maintain a large staff of certified arborists who are able to diagnose tree-related issues and make recommendations on the spot.
“We know our customers rely on us to have the answers to their tree problems,” Jeff Hansen said, “so I’ve always made it a priority to ensure we provide the most educated and prepared staff possible.”
ISA-certified arborists have a minimum of three years experience in tree care. They have knowledge in every aspect of tree care and all areas of arboriculture. Certified arborists are able to monitor and treat trees and ensure their health, safety and suitability for property owners and the community.
Walker and Foster have worked with Hansen’s for the past two years. Grogan has worked with Hansen’s for the past year. Walker and Grogan both live in Reed Spring, Mo., and work at Hansen’s Reed Spring location. Foster lives in Wright City, Mo., and works at Hansen’s O’Fallon, Mo., facility.
Hansen’s Tree Service, founded by Jeff Hansen in 1988, performs residential and commercial tree services, including diagnosis, treatment, pruning, tree removal, stump removal and lawn care.
