Role & Responsibilities
As chief of operations, Dan is responsible for crew management, scheduling, hiring, project coordination and ensuring our valued customers receive the quality service they deserve. His role coordinates services and relationships for those customers and 30 of Hansen’s expert crew members.

About Dan Baker
Dan, a St. Louis area native, began his career in tree services in 2007, and worked in the Industry from Vermont to California and locally Managing operations for over 120,000 apple trees for several years prior to joining Hansen’s on October 23.

Dan is intensely focused on customer service and exceeding customer expectations with every project. “Whether we’re pruning, removing stumps or trees, cabling trees, or clearing land, everything we do for our customers presents us with the opportunity to go that extra step to make sure we do the best work possible,” Dan says. “Our brand is built on outstanding service, and we hold ourselves to the highest possible standards for service.”

Dan is a fan of our team-oriented company culture, which he believes is the foundation for our customer service. “We have 56 employees at Hansen’s, so we’re not a small company,” he says. “But there is a real feeling of being on the same team here. Everyone is willing to jump in and help with anything at any time. And that’s something our customers notice and appreciate.”
